Rub A Dub in the Tub

Today is a good example of Hana wanting to do EVERYTHING Hayli does. Hayli likes to drink from the facet when she is in the tub. Hana decided to try it too. It was really funny to watch her explore this!

Crawling

Hana is finally crawling on all fours. It is really neat to see her crawling so fast! Today we went to Open Gym at Gym Magic (we seem to be there a lot these days!) where Hana showed off her crawling skills.

Dancing Bears

Hayli loves her dance class! She is part of the dancing bears class.

Hana Standing Up On Her Own

Today Hana started to stand a little on her own. She is going to walk any day now... YIKES!!!

Hayli & Hana at the Doctor's Office

Today Hayli and Hana went to the doctor's office. Hayli went for her 3 year appointment, and Hana went for her 9 month appointment. It seems strange to have a photo of a bathroom on here, but today was the first successful public restroom potty time we had thus far! I am so proud of Hayli!!!
The first thing that Nurse Maria did was take a little blood from Hana's foot to check her iron levels. A level of 10 is concerning, and Hana only got a 10.6 so we will have to watch her and make sure she eats more iron-rich foods.
Both girls got weighed and measured. Hayli is 41 inches tall (104 cm) above the 97th percentile and weighs 32 pounds (14 kg) right above the 50th percentile. Hana is 29 inches tall (73 cm) right below the 95th percentile and weighs 22.7 pounds (10.25 kg) right on the 95th percentile.

In addition to the regular appointment, we got Hana's ears pierced. The worst part was getting her ears cold with ice before the procedure. Hana cried and cried when I had to place the ice right on her little ears. The doctor pierced Hana's ears for us. She did a great job and Hana was calm again before we even left the office.

Dance Class

We started doing dance class. Hayli seems to enjoy the class. It is a ballet, jazz, tap, and hiphop combo class. The class does two styles in a lesson and then the next class the teachers cover the other two styles. Hayli started class 6 months into the class due to the age limit. We will see how she does at the recital in June!

HAPPY 3rd BIRTHDAY HAYLI !!!

Today is Hayli's 3rd birthday! I can not believe where all the time has gone! My baby is now a little girl. WOW! I wanted to make this a very special birthday for Hayli, and I kept her very busy! It all started early in the morning... Gotta get up! "HAPPY BIRTHDAY HAYLI". Hayli was a grins...

Then breakfast - per Hayli's request cherries and vanilla cookies.

It was off to school we went. I spent the day at school with Hayli.

It was a great day at school, after all we brought cupcakes for everyone to enjoy.

Hayli even got her favorite color ring - YELLOW!!!

Hayli's teachers (Ms Angie & Ms Crystal) and director (Ms Megan) at school gave Hayli a special birthday hug. They gave her a special birthday surprise -- a book!

After school, we went to Baskin Robbins for Hayli's free ice cream! She choose vanilla with birthday sprinkles. LOL!

The ice cream was yummy, and then it was off to shop for some dance wear with Hayli's best friend Mia.

After shopping, we raced home to call Mamo. Hayli was excited to show Mamo her favorite pillow. Hayli told Mamo all about her morning. So sweet!

Hayli needed a nap after all the things we did this morning. After she woke up, we ate dinner with Oma and Opa. We had Hayli's favorite food - Mamo's spagetti! Topped off with cupcakes!

Oma noticed the full moon outside when she came over with Opa. Daddy took this cool photo of Hayli with the moon.

Hayli took some time to show Oma her new dance moves.

Hayli talked to Grandpa on the phone and he wished her a very happy birthday. Hayli called Tante all on her own (Mommy and Daddy were not even in the room when she did it!) Hayli talked to Tante and was so happy to get her Pricklypants animal. YEAH!!!

What a day! Hayli was definitely exhausted!

Swimming

So proud of my little starfish! Hayli can now dive and swim the width of the pool! AMAZING!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ryan!

Happy Birthday Ryan! Today was Ryan's birthday and his parents had a great party at their house. Daddy, Mommy, Hayli and Hana all went to the party. It was construction theme. SO neat! Ryan had a bounce house, which most kids loved. Hayli was in it for 5 minutes and decided she was done. And this was before any of the other kids got there (yes, believe it or not we were the first to arrive!). Hayli did like playing T-Ball with the other kids, which makes me wonder if there is a 3 year old T-Ball team. Hummmmm... =0)

Happy 3rd Birthday Madeline!

Today Hayli, Daddy, Mommy, and Hana went to Madeline's 3rd birthday. Madeline had a Chuck-E-Cheese birthday. Hayli's favorite part were the games the kids were allowed to play. The horse race and ball throw were the most played by Hayli -- oh yes, and the ice cream cake!!!

Pulling Herself Up

Wow -- is it even possible that Hana can already pull herself up on the couch? I love how Hana uses her tippy toes to accomplish the task!!! Time is flying by me!
