Happy Thanksgiving!

We got to celebrate Thanksgiving with Grandma Betts, Opa, Oma, Sean, Candace, Megan, Porter, Jack, and then our family of course!
Hayli and Jack enjoyed Thanksgiving and Thanksgiving dinner. Can you tell?

Porter spent most of the time on the computer playing Conrad's favorite online game, World of Warcraft.

The Day Before Turkey Day

The day before turkey day we (the girls and Jack) went to check out some rentals for Grandma Betts. It was a busy day - and both babies were really tired after our outings. Here is Hayli fast asleep after the busy afternoon we had.
Hayli and Jack really are a two-some of trouble. Here is the trouble team (TT) checking out all the drawers by Oma's and Opa's room. The babies were exploring the treasures they may find. Hayli's expression says it all. "It wasn't me..." LOL!Uncle Sean and Hayli...

Oma's House

We are lucky enough to have Conrad's grandma and Candace's (Conrad's sister) family come to visit for Thanksgiving. It has been fun seeing everyone enjoying each others company.

Walking To Go To Bed

Hayli can't get to bed fast enough some days. She will even go to the room on her own accord (with a little help). =0)

Hayli's Tongue

I don't know where Hayli picked this up from, but lately she has been sticking her tongue out. It is cute now, but hopefully it is just a phase! =0) I caught her doing it this morning. It is only at the very beginning of the video - so watch carefully!

Hayli is 10 Months!

Hayli turned 10 months old today. I can't believe how fast the time flies!!!
Here is Hayli with the ever-so-adorable cousin Jack.
I love my little miracle!

Fuzzy Bunny Slippers

Hayli loves the fuzzy bunny slippers Beth bought her. If she is wearing nothing else, the bunny slippers are on!!!

She's A Pro (at crawling)

Hayli has been practicing her crawl since our trip to Oklahoma... now she's a real pro! (and running mama ragged!)

Also, can you see the three (yes, three) binkies that Hayli is also traveling with? Hayli is great comic relief sometimes! =0)

Babababa

Hayli is so cute when she talks to herself. "Babababa!"

"Mama, is pointing really rude?"

Dada put up the baby gate today, but Hayli still manages to play with the animals through the gate. Too funny!
Hayli now points with her index finger... it is really cute!!!

Standing

Even though Hayli is sick, she discovered the marvels of standing up! The second picture shows Hayli standing with no hands. Good job Hayli!

Sign & Sing

After the NMSU presentation, we went to the Sign & Sing class. We waited in the car. This gave Hayli some time have a little bottle while we waited. She is a real comedian though. Look at the bottle's lid on Hayli's head! LOL
Today we focused on the word "diaper".
Then there was Hayli's favorite part - the hayride.

NMSU Band

Kindermusik arranged for a special presentation from the NMSU band. It was really fun. Hayli loved all the different instruments. We may have a little Mozart on our hands... =0)

Each of the instruments presented themselves. Here are the trumpets...

Then Hayli and mama marched with the NMSU band while they marched to "Thriller". It is really hard to keep track of us, but mama is in the red sweater in the middle at the very beginning. (Just a warning... The video is long.)

Hayli really enjoyed "Thriller". I was surprised since the instruments were so loud while we were marching, but Hayli seemed unphased!

Musical Baby

Hayli truly is our musical baby. She smacks her lips.

Hayli uses all the resources she has to be instrumental. LOL!

The Renaissance Fair

After swimming,we went to the Renaissance Fair. We thought Hayli would like the festivities.

"If nobody is going to feed me my baba - I'll do it myself."
Oh so tired after swimming. Hayli slept during the entire fair, but at least she got some fresh air - right?Silly Oma... How did you get yourself in that situation?Awww... Mama is a princess and dada is a prince!

Last Swim for Term 1

Today was Hayli's last swim class for term 1. Hayli really does enjoy the swim classes and the water activities. Conrad did a really good job documenting the swim class. GO DADA!!!

Hayli really likes to go under the water. She is so funny - she keeps her eyes and mouth open when she goes under. How silly!

Andrea, our instructor, does a water activity called "Motorboat". Hayli likes the song but hates going into the 'motorboat' and normally can't wait to get out of it!!!

The class does a lot of 'station' work. The babies go from station to station and do various activities. Unfortunately, Hayli is so young that she can really only do two of the five provided stations... so we improvise!

Andrea also does "Little Fishy" with the individual babies. It is really interesting to see how Andrea has gained Hayli's trust. The first time, Hayli didn't want anything to do with this! Hard to believe it now though.

Another water activity that we squeeze into our 30 minute water session is riding on Mr. Duckie. All the little ones get onto the floating Mr. Duckie (though our Mr. Duckie is really a turtle...) and then at the end of the song the babies splash into the water. Hayli loves this fun little game.

Then comes Hayli's least favorite part... the goodbye song. Poor baby has to get out of the water after this.
