Hayli Swam and Hana Talked!

Today we went to Hayli's swim class. Miss Kayla, Hayli's swim coach, is really emphasizing on diving. It is awesome!

While Hayli was diving in the pool, Hana decided to say "mama"... Oh, how sweet!

Mama Has Two Little Helpers Now

Hana decided she would help clean up today. I am so lucky to have two willing little helpers!

Build A Car

Lowe's had a special "Build A Car" workshop for kids this morning. We signed Hayli up not knowing what to expect. She really enjoyed building a car with daddy!
Hayli is dangerous with a hammer though. WATCH OUT!!!

Then it was time for the race car's paint job (putting stickers on)...

When the kids are done with their project, they get a certificate and a badge from Lowe's. So cool! Hayli was really proud of herself! GO HAYLI!!!

Cute!

Today Hana started to do something new. When she crawls (since it is still more efficient than walking), she gets tired or fustrated and stops. Only now she moves her arms and legs like she is swimming. I laugh now, but it may be a cute and the beginning version of a temper tantrum waiting to happen!

Carnival

On Conrad's Fridays off, we try to go to Peter Piper for the pizza lunch buffet. After lunch, Hayli gets to go and play the games with Daddy. They both really enjoy it. Hayli has so much fun that she calls Peter Piper the Carnival. I think it is so funny!

Growing Up

Hana is growing up so fast!!!!

Dancing Bears

Hayli loves her dancing bears class. She still has a lot to learn. I love watching her dance!

Hana Learning to Play by Herself

Hana is learning how to play by herself. She only just started to do this. What a great milestone! I think that Hana is going to be just as independent as Hayli.

Elephants, Tigers, and Ponies... Oh My!

Today I asked Hayli if she wanted to go swimming or go to the circus, and I completely expected her to say "swimming mommy!". But I was wrong... she wanted to go see the circus.

When we got to the circus, Hayli (who is afraid of anything bigger than her) wanted to ride the elephants. I thought I would buy the ticket and I just knew she would not want to ride once we got up close. Hayli proved me wrong AGAIN... she LOVED the elephant ride. So much so, that Daddy and I had to search our pockets, diaper bag, and wallets for enough money for another ticket. Daddy took Hayli down to the floor for another ride during intermission.

Hayli also rode the horses.. she really wanted to ride the black one. Good thing mommy was quick and got her on the black horse really quickly after the previous kid was finished riding!

Even Hana enjoyed watching the shows at the circus.

The circus also had tigers ~ another favorite of Hayli's!!!

Hana is Walking!!!

Today Hana took her first steps... I can't believe it!

Hana at Kindermusik

Today Hana and Mommy went to Kindermusik. I always had fun at the classes with Hayli. Hana was more interested in how the music tasted instead of how to make the music!

Hayli's First Kneel Dive

Today, Hayli's coach taught Hayli to dive from the kneeling position. Quite impressive!

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!!!

February brought us snow this year. Hayli was so excited to see the snow, make little snowthings with daddy, and create snow angels. Hayli was not such a fan of how cold it made her hands.

Mommy and Hana spent most of the day indoors. Hana did come out to watch Hayli build her snowdaddy, snowmommy, and snowspider!
