Baby Shower

Today Kara, Jen, and Jenn threw Jenny and me a baby shower. It was so sweet of them. We got so many nice things! I am so blessed to have such great friends!

New Baby

Yesterday Hayli got a wonderful birthday present from her good friend Mia. Mia and Hayli swim and do yoga together. Mia got Hayli a baby for her birthday. The baby drinks from a bottle, cries, and giggles when you tickle her. Hayli does not care much for the crying, but loves her new baby. I think it is great, and plan to use it as a teaching tool. Mia and Mia's mama put a lot of thought into Hayli's present, and we really do appreciate it!

Just Keep Swimming

Today Moeke and Beth came to Hayli's swim classes (thanks Moeke and Beth for the great photos and Beth for the great videos!). Hayli has taken classes since she turned 6 months old. I can definitely tell that she is ready to go on her own. Hayli pushes me away now with the "I can do this on my own mommy!" attitude. YIKES! Maybe it is time to move on to the next level of class? Can it really be time for her to go into the pool without me???

2 Year Doctor Appointment

Today Hayli had a doctor appointment. It was a good appointment since it was a well baby check and did not require any shots!

Hayli had to get weighed and measured! Hayli is already 32 pounds and 36 1/2 inches tall (she is still in the 98th percentile)! What a big girl!

Dr. Settles looked and listened to Hayli, which took too long for Hayli's liking... LOL

ALL DONE!!! Hayli picked out a grape lollypop to finish the visit up... Her next scheduled appointment? Not until January 2011!!!

Happy 2nd Birthday Hayli!

Today Hayli turned two years old! I can't believe that my baby is already two years old. She is turning into such a great little girl!

Hayli started off her day with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse (it doesn't get much better than that!).

Then for breakfast, Moeke made banana bread especially for Hayli. YUMMY!

Off to the mall we went to select photos from Hayli's photo session yesterday, where Hayli also showed off her talents as a photographer. She took the photo of Beth!

Then it was lunch time, and we went to eat Mac-N-Cheese from MacAlisters (Hayli's favorite Mac-N-Cheese).

After coming home from lunch, Hayli took a long nap. What a sweet angel.

Moeke made a special family dinner, which included spagetti and garlic bread.

After dinner, Hayli opened presents! Hayli's Tante Elisabeth sent a special present. Hayli loved all her presents, but she was super excited about this particular present.

What follows presents? Cake, of course!

Hayli was not so happy to go to bed, but after many hours of fighting she finally went to sleep. Happy birthday my sweet baby girl!

Let's Par-ty

Today was Hayli's birthday party. We had it at Gym Magic, and we all had a great time!

Lindsay, a NMSU student, made Hayli's Toodle cake! It turned out so good!

Chili's Corn on the Cob with a Stick

Today Hayli discovered a new favorite treat... Chili's corn on a stick. YUMMY!!!! It is so much fun to watch her truly enjoy her corn on the cob with a stick!
