Today was Hayli's second 4th of July. Last year we went to visit our cousins Tracy, Shanyn, and their little boy Xander. And although Hayli really enjoyed spending time with them and being in a kiddie pool for the first time there, Hayli did not get to see fireworks (it was too cloudy). We figured she was too young for all the excitement anyway. This year, Hayli played with sparklers and watched the fireworks!

Watching Hayli throw apples into the pool gave me a good idea about doing something like that for EJ. He is JUST LIKE his father -- wants to throw everything. We had so much trouble with Ethan throwing things just for the enjoyment of the activity and EJ does too.
That is a very cute dress Hayli is wearing.
