Santa can be very scary to little babies, but Hayli is particularly scared of Santa. One sight of Santa begins the screams and crying. I feel bad for both Santa and Hayli! =(
Hayli with the Sears Santa. Hayli really wanted the present but you can see Hayli's teary face if you look closely.
Hayli with the mall Santa. (I thought Hayli may have forgotten the scary Sears Santa. No such luck!)
Hayli loves to play rough. She loves it when dada pushes her around the house in the laundry basket... It warms my heart to see baby and dada playing like this.
Tonight was our last night at sign and sing. We were sad to say goodbye to all our friends at the class. Hayli did follow her friend Anna through the tunnel. This was the first time for Hayli to go all the way through...
Although Hayli's attention span is really short, she does like to roll the ball back and forth. The video shows just how short lived each of our games are. It is enough to make any mama crazy and very tired sometimes...
Hayli has been trying to stand on her own for several weeks now. Of course, she is only really successful when she doesn't realize she is doing it and when mama doesn't have her camera anywhere close by. Here is one of our attempts to catch it on film! We actually caught her very first attempts at walking tonight. I was really surprised she tried without any support...
Hayli is definitely a creature of habit. She knows that mama is the one to put her to bed. Hayli will do anything to get to me when she is ready for bed. It is really cute!
Hayli really enjoys the remote that Moeke bought for her. Hayli's happiness is contagious!
