Today the Farm and Ranch museum came to Bright Beginnings for a petting zoo and horse rides for the kiddos. Mommy and Hana volunteered and ended up staying the entire day at the school. It was great fun! Hayli's class went to see the petting zoo first. Hayli enjoyed all the animals, but the piggy was definitely a hit!
Hana did not like the piggy but didn't mind the goats as much. It may have been just too much activity for little Hana!

While Hayli's class were still petting the animals at the petting zoo, Hana sat on Lightening, a small pony. Hana enjoyed that A LOT!

Hayli's favorite by far were the horse rides. Each child was only supposed to ride once. The first time around, Hayli rode Jack Jack the pony.

Hayli, of course, convinced her mommy that she just had to ride a big horse. So, off we went to see if we could just sneek in a little ride. Hayli got onto the horse, Spice, and had so much fun that she cried when she had to get off. The nice lady took pitty on Hayli and let her ride Spice yet again!

As Hayli's class went inside to get their snack for the day, Hayli was eyeing the other pony named Lightening. We were told earlier that Hayli was too big for Lightening. Hayli was talking to Lightening's owner, and the owner said that the two pounds that Hayli was over in weight didn't matter. None of the other kids that were outside could ride Lightening. So, what do you think happened? Yep, Hayli got another ride -- on Lightening.

Needless-to-say, it was a great farm day for Hayli. ;0)
