Gymnastics!

Hayli and Hana have gymnastics together on Wednesday nights.  They are so funny to watch!  Hayli is improving a lot... She enjoys learning new things.  Hayli & Hana's regular coaches were out of town (since it is summer time), so they had Kara and Mr. T!

Let's GO...

Into the tunnel...  Hana had no problem going into the tunnel at gymnastics.  I remember trying to convince Hayli when she was this age to go into the tunnel.  What different girls we have!!!

Hayli & Hana's Dance & Gym Recital !!!!

Today we had a very LONG day watching 3 sessions of recital.  The first session is when Hayli danced her Dancing Bears routine with Coach Austin. 

It was so nice to have Grandpa fly in just for the recital -- he lasted through all three sessions too. Hayli was super thrilled! 

Oma was a super trooper and was there for all three as well. Hayli was happily surprised to see that Jody came for the event. 

Hayli's teacher Ms Angie came to the recital too! What a great bunch of people to make Hayli feel SUPER special today! 

Hayli got a medal for all the effort and hard work she did on her dance routine.

Hana 'performed' her gymnastic routine with Coach Tracey during the second session.  It did not help Hana's mood that she was woke up, thrown into her outfit, and sweaty when it was her turn!!!  She did not exactly "Bop 'Til She Dropped"...

Hana got a medal too!

Finally, Hayli had her gymnastic routine with Coach Natasha, Coach Tracey, and Assitant Coach Mackenzie.  Their theme was Lilo and Stitch!

Believe it or not... gymnastics is really helping Hayli with her coordination.

Tumbling

Today is gymnastics day for the girls. Hayli is really catching on... I think it is great that she is beginning to understand what Coach Natasha wants from her and how to make her body do it. The forward roll with a hop was the new thing tonight!!!

Dinosaur Day @ Gymnastics

Today Hayli and Hana went to gymnastics. It is so nice that they can both do an activity at the same time! Anyway, the coaches had dinosaurs out to help the kids do the obstacles. Hayli and Hana had a great time with it!

Gymnastics for the Girls

Today we tried gymnastics! Both girls can go at the same time, which makes this mommy very happy. Hana does it with mommy's help, while Hayli does it by herself with mommy looking on every once in a while. It is a great opportunity for both of them!

Cruces Gymnastics Academy

We had a fabulous time at the Cruces Gymnastics Academy. We are looking at signing Hayli up for the summer. She flipped over Mr. Rik's leg and climbed under.

Hayli tried to tumble... Hey... a girl can't be great at everything all the time! LOL

The highlight of the trip to the gymnasium? The flying machine! (is there a real word for it?)
