Going to LA - Day 3

Day 3 - Friday, 3 October 2008

Today was a much better and later start than yesterday. Hayli woke up at 6:30, but that was really 7:30 NM time. We were happy for the extra sleep!


We went to the local IHOP for breakfast.


"This is for me. Don't worry - I can help myself!"


Close-by the IHOP was the airport, and you could see the planes coming in. Pretty crazy!
After breakfast, we were off to Universal Studios in Hollywood.

Hayli met with ScoobyDoo there...

We took the Universal Studios Tour ride with Hayli. Here she is telling us what she thinks about this idea...

We spent a great deal of time at the Universal Studios park. Even Homer Simpson came by to say "hello".


On our way out of the park, we got a drawing made of dada, mama, and Hayli. It turned out to be a really nice keepsake!
